Lineal Legacy

This project serves as a conversation between two generations of photographers. A father and son can utilize the same medium, yet both might see an entirely different image. Throughout this project you will see both the similarities and differences between style, composition, and format between my work and my fathers. The work features a mix of both digital photos and scanned images created on a variety of filmstock. The subject of the images never changes allowing for a true comparison of the work. Each of my images is a replication of my father’s yet it utilizes my own techniques and postprocessing to show how I would have shot the image rather than how he shot the originals.
